2007 Big Game Hunting Season:
(Outfitter License #8050)
- Bow Hunts (6 Days):
Dates: September 3-8, Sept. 10-15, Sept. 17-22, October 1-6
Rates: 1 hunter/1 guide: $5750, 2 hunters/1 guide: $4600
Information: We hunt mornings and evenings, usually returning to camp during mid-day. The country is rugged: 50,000 acres bordered by National Forest. It requires good conditioning and good equipment. We have a 95% success rate of calling a browtine bull to within 30 yards. The rest is up to you! A good chance for 300 point plus bulls.
- Rifle Hunts:
Dates: October 23-27, October 30-November 3, November 6-10, Nov. 13-17 (deer hunt)
Elk/Deer Combo Rates: 1 hunter/1 guide: $6000, 2 hunters/1 guide: $5000
Elk Only Rates: 1 hunter/1 guide: $5000, 2 hunters/1 guide: $4000
Deer Only Rate: $3000 (Nov. 13-17)
Information: During the first hunt bulls are still with the cows and still bugling. The second hunt brings a better chance of snow and more mule deer bucks because of the rut. We have had about 80% success for bulls over the last 10 years.
- Spring Black Bear Hunt:
Dates: May 10-15
Rates: $2000
Information: Bow or rifle bear hunt.
Notes:
- Out of State License Applications were due by March 15, 2007.
- Supplies you need to bring (on either hunt) include sleeping bag, towels, warm and cold weather gear, boots with good traction and support, and hunting clothes that are quiet.
